Accessibility Statement

Bertie Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC is committed to providing an accessible and user-friendly experience for all visitors, including individuals with disabilities. We continually strive to improve the accessibility and usability of our website to ensure equal access to information and services.

Our commitment

We endeavor to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards wherever reasonably achievable. This includes semantic HTML structure, keyboard-friendly navigation with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link, adequate color contrast, descriptive alternative text for images, layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to a 320-pixel screen width, and support for users who prefer reduced-motion settings.

How we review this site

We review the site with automated accessibility testing across every page template, combined with manual checks that automated tools cannot perform, including keyboard-only navigation, focus order, and small-screen reflow. Issues found in a review are corrected in our shared templates and stylesheets so that a single fix applies across the whole site. The date of our most recent review is noted at the bottom of this page.

Known limitations

Some content on this site is provided by third parties and served inside an embedded frame, including the Google Maps location map on our contact and service-area pages. We cannot control or correct the accessibility of content delivered by those third parties. If a third-party embed prevents you from getting information you need, contact us using the options below and we will provide that information to you directly in another format.

If you experience difficulty accessing any content on this website, encounter an accessibility barrier, or require information in an alternative format, contact us in whichever way works best for you:

  • By phone at (352) 331-2005.
  • In writing, without using the phone, through our contact form. Tell us the page and what you ran into, and we will respond.

We are committed to addressing accessibility concerns promptly, and we welcome your feedback as we continue to improve this site for all users.
